Title: 7 Things I Can't Enjoy Anymore After Joining the Military

Primary emotion: loss aversion. "Can't enjoy anymore" implies something was taken from you.
Secondary emotion: curiosity. "7 Things"

Framework: [Number] Things I Can't [Positive Verb] Anymore After [Shared Experience]

Examples:

  • 5 Things I Can't Watch Anymore After Becoming a Nurse
  • 6 Things I Can't Eat Anymore After Working in Restaurants

Thumbnail: Reaction

His expression tells you how to feel before you click. "ABSURD" sets the tone. The Transformers scene teases one item from the list without spoiling the rest.

Framework: Your reaction face + one-word emotion label + visual hint at the content.

Hook: Cold open.

"So, I went to Texas Roadhouse last night and the hostess says, 'You can sit any way you would like.' And I was like, 'Uh, baby girl, no I can't.' And she looking at me like, 'What?' And I'm like, 'I need that booth in a corner where I can see the door.' And that's when I realized the military, it kind of ruined everything for me."

No intro. You're dropped straight into a story at Texas Roadhouse with zero context.

That gap between a normal reaction and his reaction is the hook, and the title is paid off in the "that's when I realized" sentence.
